Accuva Cellect

Accuva Cellect : Laser Capture Microdissection (LCM) System

Power and precision in one instrument
  • Soft IR laser, ideal for capturing single cells and small numbers of cells
  • The UV laser offers superior speed and precision, optimal for dense tissue structures
  • A simple and intuitive system enables rapid microdissection that improves downstream analysis
Capture only the cells you need

Isolate only the desired cells, and enrich for specific cell types to enable a more accurate genetic profile for early-stage analysis.

Features and Benefits
  • Dual-laser system
Enables a wide range of applications, from single-cell isolation to large-scale biopsy extractions, increasing flexibility and helping to ensure reliable cell capture on all sample types without contamination or morphological damage.
  • Intuitive software
Enables rapid isolation of specific cells in five simple steps and quality control with visual inspection, facilitating sample documentation and preservation.
  • Service and Support
Training and 48-hour response times to get you back to work.
  • Flexible Sample Preparation
Support for a wide range of slide types and sample preparation formats. If you have an existing workflow, we can work with it or help validate a workflow with you.
  • Compact Design
The footprint is approximately 32% smaller than other microscope and laser systems on the market, saving valuable bench space.

MiniPunch®

This innovative tool allows users to select an area of interest from a digitized histological slide and automatically collect 200 µm diameter tissue samples from the corresponding paraffin block. This technology bridges the gap between histology and molecular analysis using artificial intelligence tools.

• Obtain molecular biology data from areas
as small as 200 µm in diameter

• Selection of areas of interest from digital slides

• Automated coring of areas of interest on paraffin blocks
(up to 16 blocks processed in a single run)

• Purification and extraction of DNA/RNA without deparaffinization

Compact and ergonomic system

  • Integrated touch screen.
  • Keyboard and mouse stored in a drawer at the base.

Advanced technology

  • Intuitive user interface: MiniPunch® software guides you step by step through the development of your project
  • Automated tray with two removable supports (block and tube supports)
  • Execution speed: approximately 40 seconds per sample

Optimal traceability

  • Capture of the block ID and reading of the barcode to ensure traceability.
  • Image capture at every key step of the process.
  • Creation of an Excel tracking file.

Extended compatibility

ExciloneView® software allows you to view and select areas of interest on scanned slides. ExciloneView® is compatible with most slide scanners currently on the market.

Try the free version of ExciloneView® (Digital pathology– Excilone).

Precision of tissue sampling

  • Ultra-precise sampling thanks to the automatic overlay of virtual slide annotations on the block image.
  • Precise and reproducible definition of the core point.

Large capacity

  • Up to 16 paraffin blocks/tray.
  • A support for a 96-well plate or for a rack of microtube strips.
  • Needle rack (96 needles/rack).

Sample Preservation

  • RNase and DNase free single-use needles for molecular analyses.
  • Small samples are taken to preserve paraffin blocks.

The MiniPunch® is ideal for various applications in Oncology, Neurology, Immunology, Immuno-oncology, Infectiology and any other fields where molecular analysis (nucleic acid and protein) needs to be linked to an area of interest in FFPE tissue.

Our R&D laboratory has verified the compatibility and feasibility of numerous analyses on these micro-samples, such as :

  • Mutation research by qPCR, dPCR and NGS (with sequence capture probe)
  • Gene expression level analysis by qRT-PCR, RT-dPCR and RNAseq

Excilone has also developed a proprietary technique for extracting nucleic acids without a deparaffinization step from FFPE micro-samples in order to carry out molecular analyses.
